Kav P is a Melbourne-based creator making niche satirical content who has been developing the PUA for Women character since 2018 and has built a dedicated audience who have enthusiastically engaged with the series, including volunteering to record dramatic readings and voice pops. Passionate about building a supportive network of fellow creators, Kav P is also committed to uplifting other artists of colour and helping to transform the Melbourne alternative comedy landscape.

PUA for Women is the dating advice show for YouTube and TikTok that women everywhere never knew they needed. Responding to viewer questions about sex, love and courtship, the series is definitely not an alternate universe satire lampooning the creepy confidence of so-called 'pick-up artist' dudes, the manosphere and paranoid QAnon-esque conspiracy theories under the premise of dating advice. Each short episode sees Kav P answering approximately 1-2 audience-submitted questions about romance and dating in a typically toxic and predatory style.
Kav filmed the series at home rather than in a Humdinger studio. Humdinger provided practical advice on the home lighting setup, including placement, balance and how Kav would appear on camera. Additionally, Kav was given a Humdinger membership to utilise the spaces at our Brunswick Studio (which they did a few times!).
Humdinger's editing team also reviewed the production and post-production approach, with feedback on presentation, pacing and editing for YouTube and TikTok. This gave Kav access to Humdinger's Melbourne video production experience while Kav retained control of the filming and edit.
